These Terms of Service apply to the Sajjel customer app and the Sajjel Merchant app. The customer and merchant sections below explain the terms that apply to each experience.

Customer Terms

These Terms of Service explain how customers may use Sajjel to view debt accounts, receive notifications, and manage profile access connected to their phone number.

Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Sajjel customer app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you should not use the app.

Customer Account

You are responsible for providing accurate account information, keeping your phone number and login credentials secure, and using only an account that belongs to you.

Debt Records

Sajjel allows you to view debt accounts and records entered by merchants. We organize and display these records, but merchants remain responsible for the accuracy of the debts they enter.

Notifications

You may receive notifications when a merchant adds or updates a debt account linked to your phone number. Notification delivery may depend on your device settings and network availability.

Disputes

If you disagree with a debt record, payment, item, or balance, you should contact the merchant directly. Sajjel may help display available information but does not decide commercial disputes between customers and merchants.

Acceptable Use

You must not use Sajjel for fraudulent, abusive, misleading, unlawful, or unauthorized activity, or attempt to interfere with the app, systems, or other users.

Privacy

Your use of Sajjel is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how customer data is collected, used, stored, and protected.

Updates and Contact

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Sajjel after updates means you accept the revised terms. For questions, contact info@sajjel.io

Merchant Terms

These Terms of Service explain how merchants may use Sajjel Merchant to create customer debt accounts, record purchases, manage payments, and notify customers.

Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Sajjel Merchant, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you should not use the merchant app.

Merchant Account

You are responsible for maintaining accurate business, employee, branch, and account information, and for keeping your login credentials secure.

Customer Information

You must only add customer information that you are authorized to use. You are responsible for ensuring that customer phone numbers, names, and debt account details are accurate.

Debt and Payment Records

You are responsible for entering accurate debts, items, payments, settlements, references, and notes. Sajjel provides record-management tools but does not verify the commercial accuracy of your entries.

Customer Notifications

When you add or update customer debt information, Sajjel may send notifications to customers. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to notify those customers.

Disputes

Any dispute about a debt, purchase, payment, refund, or customer balance remains between you and the customer. Sajjel may provide records but does not decide commercial disputes.

Acceptable Use

You must not use Sajjel Merchant for fraudulent, abusive, misleading, unlawful, or unauthorized activity, or to record false debts or customer information.

Privacy and Compliance

You are responsible for complying with applicable privacy, consumer protection, and business laws when collecting, entering, and using customer information in Sajjel Merchant.

Merchant Commission

A merchant may be eligible to receive a commission for customers added through the Sajjel Merchant app, provided that the referred customer completes a paid subscription to Sajjel. No commission is due if the customer does not subscribe. The annual commission amount is AED 5 and becomes payable only when the customer's subscription is successfully renewed. The merchant dashboard may display commission statuses, including pending earnings for customers added through the merchant app, eligible earnings once the customer subscribes, and received earnings after the commission has been paid.
